1. Barr. Mahdi Aliyu Gusau (Zamfara State) – 38years-old
Born on the 5th of December, 1981. Gusau is the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State and the Youngest Deputy Governor in Nigeria Since 1999 till date. The trained Lawyer turned Politician is a Son to General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau (Rtd), a Former Minister of Defence.
2. Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur (Borno State) – 44years-old
Born on May 31st, 1976, Kadafur is the 8th Democratically Elected Deputy Governor of Borno State. Prior to his emergence as Deputy Governor, he was the Caretaker Chairman of Biu Local Government Area of Borno State between 2015 and 2018.
3. Chief Edward Onoja (Kogi State) – 46years-old
Born on the 9th of August 1974, Onoja was named as Kogi State Deputy Governor on the 21st of October 2019, following the impeachment of his predecessor, Rt. Hon. Simon Achuba by the Kogi State House of Assembly. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Governor, the Banker turned Politician served as Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor from January 2016 till October 2019.
4. Engr. Haruna Manu (Taraba State) – 47years-old
Born on the 23rd of August, 1973. The trained Engineer turned Politician represented Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015. He became the Deputy Governor in 2015 and was re-elected in 2019.
5. Dr. Kelechi Igwe (Ebonyi State) – 50years-old
Born on the 17th of June, 1970, the Lawyer turned Politician has served in various capacities as Personal and Special Adviser to Former Ministers and Ambassadors. He assumed Office as Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State in May 2015.
