Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana (AIFPU) commonly called Polyunwana students mourn the death of their vibrant Lecturer
The department of Computer Science, AIFPU in a state of sorry as they mourn the sudden demise of their lecturer “Faustina Odinakachi Uwazurike”, who passed away on the 15th day of October after she sustains a major injury from a fire outbreak which occurred in her husband’s shop.
According to the department record, the late Faustina graduated from the Department of Computer Science AIFPU in 2017. She got automatic employment as a result of her excellence during her studies. Unfortunately, she didn’t live long to enjoy the fruit of her labour as she died at the age of 35.
In a state of sorrow and regret, today 26th November, the computer science students processed around Polyunwana environment in the respect to the deceased ahead of her burial tomorrow.

According to Omini Emmanuel, HND2 course rep, the late Faustina was described with her dedication, transparency, and integrity in her dealing with the students while she was alive.
Meanwhile, she will be laid to eternal rest tomorrow 27th November, in her husband’s compound Ezi Akaa, Unwana, Afikpo North LGA, Ebonyi State.
Before her sudden demise, she survived by her husband, 2 children among other siblings.
